I DIDN'T ZIP MY ZIPPER

Okay so this title sounds weird.
Buuuuut once upon a time I was walking out of the bathroom, and the door was wide open and stuff and I checked to see if I zipped my zipper BUT I DIDN'T and right when I realized I didn't, one of the sisters saw. So I ran back in the bathroom feeling very embarrassed and broken inside as I zipped myself up. Then I walked back out and was just like "Um. Sup."
Yeah it was bad.

ANOTHER STORY.

We were in our district room getting ready to leave, and for some reason we started talking about how girls like to stand really sassy-like, so us Elders started to imitate what we were talking about... and right then, a Filipino MTC worker walks past our door, looks in, then does a double-take.
The look of pure horror is ingrained in my memory and I feel so bad for the poor man.

Other than these too fun events, everything this weeks has been just studying and more studying and occasional crying (tearing) and teaching. But it's all so fun. The spirit is strong here and all the missionaries here are amazing.
The senior batch of missionaries just barely left yesterday along with all the Filipino missionaries who were here for 12 days. I may or may not have cried a bit. Because they're all so fun and spiritual and awesome and I only got to be with them for 12 days, but we all got so close. I'll see if I can put up some pictures.

Um Um Um so we watched a lot of devotionals this weeks. And wow all I can say is just wow. The general authorities know what they're talking about and they know how to get you pumped up to be a good missionary.
We watched a devotional by Elder Holland and you know, it's Elder Holland so man it was powerful. After we watched it I was like "Wow I learned so much and I'm so motivated!" but i was also like "Man I kinda suck right now. I'm going to get better." So it was a very motivating devotional. He talked about PMG and about how we need to first be converted before we can start converting others and it was great.

ERRrrrrrkrkkkkkkkkkkkk I think that's all for now. I don't really know how much time I have.

So I'll just end here.
Much love!
Paalam!

Oh yeah. Tagalog is still hard.

Okay bye.

MY FOOT WAS BLESSED

K NO BUT REALLY IT WAS SO COOL.

So during gym (because gym time is a thing yeah?) we were playing kickball... And right near the end of gym time I was up to kick.
So the pitcher pitched.
And I kicked it...
and it landed....

RIGHT IN THE BASKETBALL HOOP ACROSS THE GYM. Holy cow I don't know how it happened but it happened and it was so cool. Everyone in gym then proceeded to lift me in the air and chant "MVP MVP MVP" And it was probably one of the most hilarious and not very humbling moments of my life.
But yeah that's it for this week.

Haaaa Joke-lang.

So let's start kind of from the beginning.
First: Flying in a plane with now music or movies to watch for 17+ hours is possibly the worst thing you could ever do. 10/10 Would not Recommend.
Second: It took all my willpower not to watch the Live Action Attack On Titan movie that was on the TV screen right in front of me on the plane.
Third: Just don't fly for that long without music.

I read scriptures and slept the whole time. It was good, but I could only read for so long without feeling sick so that didn't help.

So we landed in the Philippines and we got to our hotel then on Friday morning we were shipped off to the MTC and here I am now!
The Philippines MTC is so fun. There are people from all over... Like New Zealand, Australia, Guam,.... Utah..... And yeah other places too. Oh and lots of Filipinos. Lots. They're all so cute.

We eat rice every single day. And honestly I'm so fine with that because it doesn't feel any different from home so that's nice.
Okay, this language (Tagalog) is so weird. Everything feels so backwards when I try to speak. And that's when I try to speak because I still don't know a lot. BUT. We're making progress. The Gift of tongues (kaloob ng wika) is a great thing.

OH and my companion is this guy named Elder Mclaughlin from New Zealand? He's great. Love this guy. He's super quiet, but he's so posh and well mannered, so I feel bad he has to share a room with me and two other Utahns. But yeah, love him. He sounds like Mr. Bean, accent and all.

So that's all for now. I'm so grateful to be here and the biggest thing I've learned is just the Missionary Purpose: to invite others to come unto Christ.

Sorry if this was long.

Bye. Much love!
